Are the records of our faculties and students automatically uploaded in the system, if we cannot see the profile of the patron who will activate that? Will we manually encode it?

If the accounts of the faculties and students are updated in the different information systems of UP (e.g., CRS, SAIS, HRIS) once you search them by their employee numbers or student numbers their up-to-date status and records will add and reflected on the system, even if they do not have yet transactions with your library before. This is why we encourage you to search patrons by their employee/student numbers instead of by names. (Link to New Transaction/ Find Borrower by ID & Find Patron by Name)
