Why does BUKLOD not have advanced search?

Although you can still utilize BUKLOD as your OPAC, TUKLAS’ more sophisticated search function is available. As a library service platform, BUKLOD often serves as the working platform for library services, while TUKLAS acts as the discovery search platform for BUKLOD, in contrast to the ILS where all functions were integrated into a single platform. In summary, TUKLAS acts as the Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC), and BUKLOD is utilized for services like circulation, cataloging, inventory, acquisitions, and other technical tasks.
